MCP Server (Claude Code)
To install the Distill MCP server and use it with Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http distill https://distill.com/mcpThen, when you're in Claude Code, type /mcp and select Distill to authenticate.
Once connected, here's what you can do:
Find someone by name
Search LinkedIn for people or companies by name or keyword. Claude will return matching profiles with LinkedIn URLs you can explore further.
Try: "Find the CEO of Stripe" or "Search for investors at Andreessen Horowitz"
Look up a profile
Get a full profile for any person or company from a LinkedIn URL, Twitter URL, or website. Includes work history, education, recent news, and key highlights.
Try: "Tell me about linkedin.com/in/elonmusk" or "What do you know about Figma?"
Look up multiple people at once
Get a quick overview of up to 10 people or companies in a single request.
Try: "Give me a snapshot of these three founders: [URLs]"
Who is this person? (from an email address)
Resolve an email address to a LinkedIn profile. Great for identifying contacts before a call or email.
Try: "Who is [email protected]?"
Who am I meeting with today?
Pull your upcoming calendar and see attendee details. Claude can then automatically look up everyone's background so you walk in prepared.
Try: "Prep me for my next meeting" — Claude will list attendees and pull their profiles automatically.
